Lysanias Taylor won the hearts of thousands when an emotional video of her accepting a Christmas gift from her daughters — a ticket to Motown the Musical, a Broadway show she’s dreamed of seeing — made the rounds online.

Broadway actress Pamela Bob was moved when she saw the YouTube video shared, and reached out to TODAY’s Wishing Well for help in getting Lysanias and her family to the show. (See Bob's very sweet post below.)

Now it’s up to you, TODAY fans. Do you know how to help Lysanias and her daughters get to New York City to see Motown the Musical? Tell us how!

Simply email us your ideas or how you can help, and we’ll work to make sure Lysansias’ dream comes true. Be sure to include your daytime and evening contact info so we can get right back to you.

I would love to nominate a stranger :) Let me explain:

A YouTube video went viral on Facebook right after Christmas, of a daughter surprising her mom with a ticket to see Motown the Musical.

I am an actor, currently in the Broadway show, "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder". Everyone in the Theatre/Broadway community was so completely inspired and moved from this video. It made us remember why live theatre is so important, and how lucky we are to touch others’ lives. Especially through grueling Holiday show schedules, often doing a 12-13 show week without any breaks.

As much as we were all moved by this amazing family portrait – hard-working mother who couldn't even afford to purchase a ticket for a Broadway show, her dream – it really hit me that she could not ever afford a plane ticket to get to NYC. She has until Mother's Day to come up with the money. I also have no idea how she will afford to stay at a hotel for this time.

I know the entire Broadway community is more than willing to support this beautiful family, and our wish is to not only get a plane ticket for this selfless mother, but plane fare for her daughters, as well as tickets to the show for them so they could join her. A Hotel stay would also be incredible.

We, in the Broadway community, are touched beyond words. We all know it is like to dream about Broadway, and to have your dreams come true. It is our honor to help this family, who are so deserving. It is not only our privilege, it is our responsibility.

We CAN make a difference. We CAN give back.

Please help to make this dream a reality. All of Broadway will be there to help and support!!!

Thanks so much-

Pamela Bob, actor
